love of thoughts random is a collection of poetry spanning twenty years, written by English-born New Zealand comedian Philip Patston.
Disabled, gay and vegetarian, Philip began a “people career” as a telephone counsellor for Youthline and Gayline. He worked as an awareness facilitator for many years in the tertiary sector, then at the Human Rights Commission until 1998, when he left to start his own business, Diversityworks.
Philip embarked on an additional career in comedy in 1995 and has become an established professional comedian, winning the Billy T Award for commitment and contribution to NZ comedy in 1999. He lives in Auckland.
